Refund Policy
You pay a flat fee for each claim, and only when you press send. Here’s when we give it back.
1. When you get a full refund
We refund the whole fee for a claim if:
- we can’t submit it, for example because information is missing that we can’t get, or the insurer won’t accept it from us;
- our review finds a problem and we decide not to send it;
- you ask us to cancel before it has been submitted;
- the mail carrier returns it as undeliverable and we can’t resend it to a correct address;
- you were charged twice, or charged an amount different from the one shown before you paid.
If we spot one of these ourselves, we’ll refund you without you having to ask.
2. When the insurer says no
Your fee pays for preparing and submitting the claim, not for the outcome. Once a claim has been submitted, we don’t refund the fee because the insurer denies it, pays less than the estimate, or takes a long time.
The exception is our own mistakes. If the insurer rejects a claim because of an error we made, such as a wrong code or a missing page we should have included, we’ll fix and resubmit it for free. If we can’t, we’ll refund the fee.
3. How to ask for a refund
Email support@claimchief.ai from the address on your account within 60 days of paying, and tell us which claim it’s about. We usually reply within two business days.
4. How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the card or payment method you used. Banks usually post them within 5 to 10 business days of when we issue them.
